Zhe Zhai is an assistant professor of economics at Center for Economics, Finance and Management Studies, Hunan University. She joined the center in January 2018, after she earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Georgia Institute of Technology. She graduated from Boston University with a Master's degree in Economics and Central University of Finance and Economics with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Management. Her research interests focus on innovation economics, transportation economics, and other related topics in applied microeconomics. Since joining the center, she has published one paper in Research in Transportation. She teaches microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and transportation economics at CEFMS. She won Third Prize in the 2019 HNU New Faculty Teaching Competition.
