On May 26, 2021, Ms. Xianfang Xiong, a PhD student of Economics at the Center of Economics, Finance of Management Studies (CEFMS), defended her dissertation in room 409 of the administrative building of Hunan University. Her dissertation is entitled "skill substitution and the construction of generalized human capital system and the ways to improve the quality of individual human capital". At the beginning of the meeting, she briefed her paper. After her presentation, five experts comprising of the thesis defense committee made comments on the paper and gave constructive suggestions. The meeting was held for an hour and a half. After discussions, the Committee unanimously agreed upon passing Xianfang Xiong’s thesis defense.
